Hey, Hi. So I can't be the only one juggling all these responsibilities and constantly on the struggle bus here, right? If you have no issues with this topic, no need to read further. #iamjealous

In a nutshell, in no particular order, we all balance most of the following: Work, kids, marriage, house upkeep, pets, and personal life (what even is that!?). And most days, I feel like I'm completely winging it. Then, you can break down each of those major responsibilities into categories; Kids - sports, lessons, special needs, teen drama, toddler drama, appointments. Marriage - date nights, are we just roomates? House - cleaning, mowing, repairs, never ending laundry. Pets - Vet and grooming visits, walking/caring for them. Personal life - spiritual growth, exercise, appointments, me time. Church/small groups. Volunteer life. Family/together time.

Let's be real. I'm pretty hard on myself, and not long ago a female friend said something like, "girl, give yourself a break. You run a home bakery". So I thought on that a few days. I don't always count my job a job...because I don't leave home. But I spend an exorbitant amount of time in my kitchen, researching the next cake trend, teaching myself new skills, or searching online for a perfect cake topper. Isn't so much of our American culture about the HUSTLE? We have to hustle out of necessity...to get ahead, to be the best, to work harder, faster, & longer. WHY do I do this? Social media. I see her clean kitchen. Or her perfect kids. Or her perfect body. Or her perfect job, all the way at the top of management. "The hustle", oh that's all tied to your mental health. And it ain't good.

So I asked Google. "How can I balance my life?" WWW.Lifehack.org provides "10 Simple Ways to Find Balance and Get Your Life Back". They are great suggestions, and you should definitely check them out! But be prepared, it will take time to make the adjustments. Do you struggle with "the hustle"? Check this out - https://www.thoughtfull.world/post/is-hustle-culture-hurting-you-here-s-how-to-break-the-grind "Is the Hustle Culture Hurting You? Here's how to break the grind.".

In the meantime, "Give yourself a Break!
